Kurt Rivera, CRC
Kurt has been with Digestive Healthcare of Georgia since 2016. He graduated from University of Georgia in 2010. He serves as the Lead Clinical Research Coordinator for most of our trials and helps with the daily management of our clinical trial patients.
Debeeh Legaspi, RN, BSN, CCRP
Debeeh has over 25 years of Clinical Research experience and has been with Digestive Healthcare of Georgia since 2008. She received her BSN from Northeastern University in Chicago, IL. Prior to becoming the Director of Clinical Research Operations for DHCG, she was the founder and CEO of Asian Pacific Clinical Trials where she recruited and trained 150 physicians at 20 different sites in the Philippines. She also worked with FERCAP (Forum for Ethical Research Committee in Asia Pacific) and WHO (World Health Organization) to train IRB members in Thailand, Indonesia, and the Philippines.
Monica Martelli
Monica has worked at Digestive Healthcare of Georgia since coming onboard as a medical scribe in 2019. She graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2019 with a biology degree, and is in the process of pursuing a degree in medicine. She is an ACG 2021 Presidential Abstract award winner and published scientific author who spends most of her free time doing independent research and collaborative projects in the field of gastroenterology, advanced endoscopy as well as hepatobiliary disease.
Shelby Henderson
Shelby graduated from Kennesaw State University in 2019 and began her medical career in the ER. After spending four years in the ER through the pandemic and working in a diagnostic lab for two years she is excited to be joining the clinical research team at Digestive Healthcare of Georgia.
