ADVANCED GASTROINTESTINAL ENDOSCOPIST

Dr. Mehta is a board certified Gastroenterologist who specializes in interventional endoscopic therapies for complex esophageal, gastric, intestinal, colonic, liver, and pancreaticobiliary diseases. He performs EGD, Colonoscopy, Endoscopic Retrograde Cholangio Pancreatography (ERCP), and Endoscopic Ultrasound (EUS) in order to manage both benign and malignant diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. He performs endoscopic resection of early esophageal cancer, radiofrequency ablation and balloon cryotherapy for the management of Barrett’s esophagus. He performs minimally invasive therapy for patients suffering from Zenker’s Diverticulum. He performs novel endoscopic therapies for patients suffering from complex esophageal strictures due to post surgical anatomy, radiation induced damage, or severe reflux disease.

The physicians at Digestive Healthcare of Georgia are closely monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.
